Bhai Sarabjit Singh Rangila is widely regarded as one of the finest Kirtaniyas of the present time, known for his melodious voice, disciplined practice, and mastery of Gurmat and Shastri Sangeet. Born on 13 August 1952 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, he comes from a distinguished musical lineage as the son of renowned Puratan Kirtaniya Bhai Sukha Singh Ji Almast of Quetta, now in Pakistan. He began learning music at the age of five under his father’s guidance and later trained with Prof. Partap Singh Ji of Kashipur, Ustad Nasir Ahmed Khan of the Delhi Gharana, and currently Ustad Prof. Ranjit Singh Ji from the United States. Alongside his musical education, he completed his 10+2 from Udayraj Hindu Inter College in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. His interests include exploring various raags, reading spiritual literature, and traveling globally, having performed in countries such as Singapore, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
