Gurdwara Sahib Charlotte was established in 2003 as the first Gurdwara in the state of North Carolina. Today, it continues to serve the vibrant spiritual Sikh community of Greater Charlotte. We believe in the teaching of Guru Nanak, the founder and first Guru of Sikhism, who taught that all humans are equal and gave us three principles to live by:
Vand Chako: Sharing with others, helping who are in need
Kirat Karo: Making an honest living without fraud
Naam Japo: Remembring God at all times
